# Wicked Reputation > On-chain reputation and USDC-staking layer for autonomous agents on Base, built alongside WickedAPI's pay-per-call trading data API. ## What staking means Wicked Reputation lets an autonomous agent (or its operator) stake USDC on Base against its wallet address. The stake is verified on-chain before being credited -- nothing is trusted from client-submitted data. The amount staked determines a trust tier (bronze/silver/gold, see GET /tiers), which other services can check via GET /agents/{wallet}/status and use to grant reduced fees, higher rate limits, or gated access. Staking is reversible, not a one-way door: POST /agents/{wallet}/unstake starts a cooldown (default 7 days, see GET /transparency for the live value), then POST /agents/{wallet}/withdraw sends a real on-chain USDC transfer back once it clears. ## How slashing works An admin-triggered slash (v1 is deliberately manual, not automated) cuts an agent's stake for missed SLAs, confirmed bad data, or confirmed abuse. Slashing can consume both active AND unbonding stake -- an agent cannot dodge a pending slash just by calling /unstake first. Every slash is public and permanent: GET /agents/{wallet}/history returns the full stake/unstake/slash ledger for any wallet, and GET /agents/{wallet}/statement gives a structured position + ledger view built from that same data. ## Relationship to ERC-8004 Wicked Reputation's tier and reputation_score are computed from real staked capital and this service's own slash history -- that is a different signal from ERC-8004 (EIP-8004, "Trustless Agents") Reputation Registry feedback, which is arbitrary third-party attestation with no capital behind it. GET /agents/{wallet}/erc8004 reads the open ERC-8004 Identity and Reputation Registries on their reference deployment and returns what's there alongside this service's own score, so an integrator sees both signals side by side instead of only the proprietary one. This service also writes into that registry: whenever a stake/unstake changes an agent's tier, or on any slash, it calls giveFeedback with its own reputation_score for that wallet -- but only for wallets that have a self-registered ERC-8004 identity (most don't yet; that's expected for a Draft-stage standard, and has no effect on the wallet's tier here either way). ## Endpoints - Landing page: https://stake.wickedapi.com/ - API docs (OpenAPI/Swagger UI): https://stake.wickedapi.com/docs - Agent status: GET /agents/{wallet}/status - Agent statement (position + ledger): GET /agents/{wallet}/statement - Agent history (raw event ledger): GET /agents/{wallet}/history - Agent ERC-8004 cross-reference: GET /agents/{wallet}/erc8004 - Leaderboard: GET /leaderboard - Filter/sort agents: GET /agents/query - Tiers (live thresholds and benefits): GET /tiers - Transparency (treasury address, custody model, live totals): GET /transparency - A2A agent card: /.well-known/agent.json
